Olsen Sisters are Media Moguls

Along with her twin sister, Ashley, Mary-Kate Olsen became the youngest producers in history, at age six, of their poplular television show and catalyst to their fame, “Full House”.

The show launched their careers in television, movies, music, books, clothing and much more. Mary-Kate Olsen and twin sister Ashley, were self-made millionaires by the time they were ten years old. Now 19 years old, the twin teen titans are expected to be billionaires by their 21st birthday.

Mary-Kate shared the role of Michelle Tanner with her twin sister, Ashley, from the time they were nine months old and continued the role through nine years old. To help each other stay in character and avoid confusion, they are reported to have addressed one another by their character’s name on the set of “Full House” - less confusing for them maybe.

By the time they were twelve years old, the Olsen twin sisters were among the most popular female personalities in America. After their first feature film, the twin sisters returned to the small screen of ABC with their own show, “Two Of A Kind” done by their very own Dualstar Entertainment company.

In September 1993, the Olsen’s launched, “Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: Our First Video” which soared within three weeks to the top of Billboard’s music video charts, enjoying 12 weeks at #1 and an unprecedented 157 weeks in the Top 10. The eventual quadruple-platinum video was another first for seven year-olds, but the first of many accomplishments that would make the Olsen’s multi-media moguls.
